In the Pot Black Gundog Scurry, seven dummies are placed out in the arena, each next to a coloured sign denoting the value. The higher the points, the harder the retrieve – its that simple. Your dog needs to be adept at hunting cover as well as spritely over longer distances. Good use of the stop whistle is essential in this gundog scurry. Pot Black often attracts a great deal of interest from spectators who marvel at the control of the dogs. This is one of Countryman Fairs the most challenging, but rewarding gundog scurries.
