The Mitsubishi Motors World Series Clay Shooting Championship Grand Final is now clearly on the horizon, and this year’s championship finale is set to be the most exciting yet. The Grand Final is held at what is arguably Europe’s biggest shooting event, the legendary Midland Game Fair at Weston Park, Shropshire this September.

Qualifying events for the Championship Grand Final have been held across the UK; including the Kelmarsh, Highclere and Sussex Game and Country Fairs, and a new round at the Doveridge Clay Sports Club. The Mitsubishi Motors World Series Arena at the Midland Game Fair will witness the action as it unfolds, with Grand Champion set to walk away with the fantastic Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian worth a staggering £26,000!

The World Series Clay Shooting Championship has attracted shooters of all disciplines from across the country, each taking part in a 50 bird-sporting layout. The top three shooters in each CPSA grade (AA, A, B & C) from each event securing their places in the final at the Midland Game Fair, whilst also claiming a share of the £10,000 cash prize fund. With a truly exciting weekend of championship action in store, the World Series Grand Final will pit shooters form different grades against each other head-to-head using a unique handicap system, so anyone really and win.

Attracting an amazing 89,000 visitors at last year’s event, The Midland Game Fair is one of the most important meeting places for country people.
