The 2013 World Hunter Field Target Championship took place over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend at the Kelmarsh Country Fair, not only seeing more competitors than ever take part, including entries as far a field as Zimbabwe, the Netherlands and Czech Republic, but also confirming Scotland’s Greg Morss as the new 2013 World Hunter Field Target Champion.
The Easter Bank Holiday welcomed in the 27th Kelmarsh Country Fair and with it the long-running Terrier and Lurcher events. A firm favourite at all Countryman Fairs events, this year’s earth and running classes at Kelmarsh have produced some exhilarating displays, with qualifiers confirming their places and going through to the Countryman’s Weekly Champion of Champions in September.
The new-look Gundog Championship returned over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend with two new worthy sponsors – Great Wall and Chudleys – a new set of qualifiers making it through to the Grand Final in September and a brand new Great Wall Steed Tracker truck up for grabs too!
The new-look Great Wall Motor World Series Clay Shooting Championship returned at the Kelmarsh Country Fair over the Easter Bank Holiday, with old and new faces taking part in the first set of qualifying rounds.
The Easter Bank Holiday saw the arrival of the 27th Kelmarsh Country Fair, welcoming visitors in their droves through the gates to kick start the game fair season in earnest.
Welcoming lots of new features, acts and countryside stores at this year’s Kelmarsh Country Fair, Countryman Fairs’ Managing Director, Jerome Roberts would like to assure all those attending the Easter Bank Holiday event that the Fair is in good shape and the build of the event is underway and going well.
