Stickmaking is an extremely old craft, and one, which is likely to date back to when man first walked on two legs.  As well as functional and practical items, the sticks can also be extremely decorative and beautiful.  Stickmakers are highly skilled craftsmen, with knowledge that has been passed down through generations.
