The Highclere Game and Country Fair - The Finest Showcase of Country Life in the Southern Counties
This year sees the 16th Highclere Game and Country Fair, which will once again be held in the stunning grounds of Highclere Castle by kind permission of Lord and Lady Carnarvon. Previously known as the Southern Counties Game and Country Fair, the event was renamed in 2005 to enhance its link with the Hampshire Estate.
As with our Kelmarsh and Sussex events, the Highclere Game and Country Fair was once part of the County Fairs group of game and country shows, and was acquired by Countryman Fairs in 2004. The Highclere Game and Country Fair is the smallest of the Countryman Fairs portfolio, but still offers the same broad range of quality family entertainment and prestigious country sports championships as its larger stable mates. In fact, the magnificent surroundings at Highclere give the fair a ‘stately’ feel, whilst still retaining its intimate atmosphere.
The Highclere Game and Country Fair is about quality. Each exhibitor is carefully selected to bring something different to the event. The competitions, entertainment and world-class country sports events are amongst the very best to be found at any event. Highclere attracts a portfolio of quality exhibitors offering a broad range of products, to suit all pockets.
But it’s not just about country sports and shopping. The Highclere Game and Country Fair is a great day out for the whole family. All-day, action packed family fun in the Main Arena, displays of traditional rural crafts, live music and children’s entertainment make the Highclere Game and Country Fair a must visit experience.
