Airguns

Countryman Fairs work closely with many of the countries leading countryside organisations in order to promote responsible behaviour with in the countryside and provide a save environment for visitors to get involved in country sports.

Working with the Airgun Training and Education and Organisation for many years, Countryman Fairs have provided a tuition facility for our younger visitors at all our events. For 2008 Countryman Fairs are proud to announce that the ATEO will be re-introducing the Junior Airgun Championship across our group of events.

The Junior Airgun Championship will consist of 10 ft type 1 targets set at a minimum distance of forty five yards. Shooters from across the UK will qualify for the grand final to be held at the Midland Game Fair.

Whilst the children are shooting their way through the coarse set out by the ATEO, Mum and Dad can gain some pointers on how to shoot from the ATEO’s adult coaching range. This facility will be offer for the very first time across Countryman Fairs group of events.

The Junior Airgun Championship will be open to all shooters aged 14 and under, at a cost of £4.00 per entry. The entry fee includes a 10 target practice on the tuition range and one entry into the competition range. Guns will be supplied by the ATEO.

Full details of the prize package and the format for the final are to be announced.
