Following its success, the Kelmarsh Angling Festival has become a key part of the Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair. This year Kelmarsh Angling Festival offers anglers of all disciplines the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in angling, with a selection of retailers, exceptional have-a-go competitions and expert tuition.

Throughout the day the action packed Angling Arena, co-ordinated by expert fly fisherman Hywel Morgan, offers demonstrations in Game and Coarse fishing. Scott Mackenzie, Jan Porter, Hywel Morgan and Charles Jardine will all be on hand after each demonstration to offer the advice and guidance to budding angling enthusiasts.

If you find you’re “hooked” by the outstanding arena demonstrations and competition profile, visitors can also gain expert tuition in both game and coarse fishing. Any fish caught from Kelmarsh Hall’s fully stocked lake can be taken home, or if you are feeling adventurous, celebrity Game Chef Mark Gilchrist will show you how to prepare and cook your fish in our Food Festival.
