Ye Olde Redtail Falconry are Ray and Wendy Aliker, one of the most well-known and memorable display teams in the UK.

Ray’s childhood interest in cage birds developed into a full-time falconry career, and together he and Wendy Aliker have been appearing at shows up and down the country, including the Midland Game Fair, for over twenty seven years.

Ye Olde Redtail present a falconry display like no other, using music, costume and showmanship to illustrate the grace and majesty of the birds in flight.  Perhaps most famous of all is the “mouse’s eye view” of an eagle owl’s flight: enter the Kelmarsh Country Fair Main Arena and try it for yourself!

Ray and Wendy Aliker are perennial favourites at the Midland Game Fair, and present a show suitable for everyone, from toddlers to pensioners. Audiences get a chance to see birds of prey at their most exciting, as children get the chance to fly the Barn Owl, and both children and adults fly the Harris Hawks.

Marvel at the speed of the falcons, and be amazed at Archie and Elsie the Vultures. Learn about Kestrels, Kites and the Snowy Owl as they glide effortlessy above.
