Midland Game Fair - Traditional Rural Crafts
The Midland Game Fair is a true celebration of the countryside, and at Countryman Fairs we take pride in showcasing our rural heritage. Alongside the Worlds foremost field sport competitions you will find ancient country crafts still being practiced by highly skilled craftsmen.
A wide range of traditional crafts are demonstrated including rope working, forging, hurdle making, trug making, stick making, net making and much more. Each craftsman is on hand to offer their expertise and they are more than happy for you to learn from the vast knowledge they have accumulated. Our traditional rural crafts displays include:
