The nationally recognised institution that is the Midland Game Fair returns for the 27th time to Weston Park on the 19th and 20th of September 2009. Over 87,000 air gunners, clay shooters, game shooters, stalkers, gundog enthusiasts, terrier and lurcher competitors, net makers, ferreting enthusiasts and falconers, all flocked to Weston Park to enjoy the celebration of country life that is the Midland Game Fair. For 2009 the list is sure to increase with the introduction of yet more competitions.

The Midland Game Fair provides the perfect environment for visitors to truly indulge themselves in country sports. Every year, new attractions are introduced to further add to the broad appeal of the Midland. New feature areas including the Working Ferret World, the new look Kennel Club Discover Dogs Pavilion, and the ‘New Look’ Food Festival draw in more family visitors to experience country life at its best.

In 2008, visitors can also look forward to the Worlds leading portfolio of Championship events, not only representing the very best of their respective disciplines, but also the richest prize fund available anywhere in the country sports world. Grand finals for the Mitsubishi Motors World Series, Richa Premier Gundog League, European Field Target Championships, Game Conservancy National Gundog Finals, TransK9 Working Test, Countryman’s Weekly Champion of Champions, All Shires Net Making Championship, ATEO Junior Airgun Championship, Carrilon UK Casting Championships and the UK Working Ferret Championship have all made the Midland Game Fair their home for 2008.
