The central theme of the Midland Game and Country Sports Fair has and always will be shooting and shooting sports. Nowhere else can as many shooting related retailers and activities be seen with Gunmakers Row and Airgun Expo providing Europe’s most comprehensive display of guns and shooting related products.
The Midland Game Fair Gunmaker’s Row is unrivalled as the best place to view the finest gun makers and gun dealers, with over 200 exhibitors at the heart of the show. New features planned for 2008 include a shooting information centre, featuring expert advice on how to get started in the sport and shotgun licensing. Graham Brown of Purbeck Shooting School will be at the helm on the clay shooting line, with new innovations in the pipeline that will revitalise the competition layouts. The highlight for clay shooters will be the Grand Final of the Mitsubishi Motors World Series, with an outstanding Mitsubishi L200 4x4 Double Cab Warrior on offer for the champion.
The Midland is renowned as the home of UK air gunning, presenting the UK’s most comprehensive showcase of manufacturers and distributors. In 2008 Airgun Expo will see the return of the much-requested central entertainment and catering area, visitors can relax with a drink and marvel at the superb developments in air gunning that will be on display from AMTA members, at their flagship event.
The Midland Game Fair once again hosts the European Field Target Championships which welcomes shooters from across the continent to battle it out against each other.
