Compak Sporting is a variation of English Sporting, although in a compact version as the name suggests. The Compak Sporting layout is effectively a shooting arena in which five traps are positioned offering a variety of targets. Doveridge Shotgun Academy are pleased to offer a Compak Sporting layout in the Mitsubishi Motors Clay Shooting Festival at each Countryman Fairs event.

So you’ve found the perfect gun, invested in quality coaching and you’re still missing the birds? It can be hugely frustrating. The number one cause of missed birds, game or clay, occurs when your gun is not shooting where you are looking. If you want to improve your clay shooting it is essential that you have your eye dominance and gun fit checked on a regular basis. This can make a massive difference to consistency in breaking clay targets.
