About The Sussex Game and Country Fair 18th & 19th June 2011

Traction Engine at the Sussex Game and Country FairNow in its 20th year, the Sussex Game and Country Fair is renowned across the South of England for showcasing our rural heritage. Offering a unique blend of family entertainment, country sports and working vintage displays, the Sussex Game and Country Fair is a great place to relax and enjoy the countryside as it has been seen across many generations.

The Sussex Game and Country Fair enjoys strong relationships with local organisations and preservation societies who stage their annual exhibitions of local cottage industries, rural crafts and traditional countryside past times at the Fair.

Historical interest groups such as the The Wealden Guild of Spinners and Weavers, Solent Guild of Wood Carvers & Sculptors and the Sussex and Kent Weald Stationary Engine Group all make the Sussex Game and Country Fair into a complete celebration of our rural heritage.

The Sussex Game and Country Fair is set in the beautifully rolling grounds of Parham Park in the heart of the South Downs. Parham’s well preserved landscape and dramatic cliff faces provide an impressive backdrop for this country lifestyle showcase. Other than the ancient herd of melanistic fallow who have occupied Parham Park since the 1600's, very few others are granted the opportunity to enjoy the entire expanse of this incredible landscape.

Retail therapy abounds in the 250 exhibition stands, and wonder at behemoths of yesteryear in the Steam and Vintage vehicle section. Get involved in one of the many competitions and "have-a-go" events, or simply relax in one of the many picnic areas and bask in the mid June sunshine. There is something for everyone at the Sussex Game and Country Fair.

This years Sussex Game and Country Fair will be held at Parham Park on 18th & 19th June 2011. Make this an annual date in your family's diary. Join us on Facebook and keep up-to-date with news and developments as they happen.
