Bringing their award-winning act to the Countryman Fairs' show grounds this year, the Rockwood Dog Display Team will be demonstrating some spectacular displays and stunts, whilst offering that all important know-how when it comes to owning and handling dogs.

Formed in 1985 and based in Caerphilly Wales, the Rockwood Dog Display Team are a first-class performance group who have travelled all over Great Britain, including the Channel Islands and Ireland.

With four Royal performances under their belt, the Rockwood Dog Display Team have perfected their displays over the years, incorporating a unique blend of family fun and education into their act. With many of the dogs coming from bad homes and rescue centres, the dedicated team of handlers and volunteers work tirelessly to retrain the dogs whilst helping to educate the public on the correct ways to handle, discipline and train them fit for today's society.  

Made up of fifteen personnel, the Rockwood Dog Display Team will be attending the Sussex Game and Country Fair, promising to deliver fantastic showcases to keep you and your family entertained. Along with dog training and obedience to music, the display team will also be putting on spectacular stunts, with everything from tight rope walking and fire retrieving, to jumping through hoops and performing a unique backwards recall - a sight that truly has to be seen to be believed.

Having attended over 40 events throughout the summer months, including some of the countries leading outdoor events, the Rockwood Dog Display Team are no strangers to film and TV either, having trained and supplied animals to the higher end of the industry since 1990. Having working with acclaimed actors such as Peter O'Toole, Edward Woodward, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Kenneth Branagh to name but a few, these famous dogs are the A-list in entertainment and a must for you and your family to see for yourselves.
