Sussex Country Fair
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June 2009
Parham Park, Near Pulborough, West Sussex RH20 4HS
As you walk through the gates of Sussex County Fair the displays of rural heritage are immediately apparent with the comprehensive selection of steam engines and vintage vehicles being the first thing on show. For 2008 Countryman Fairs will be building on this ever popular feature area and incorporating a completely new vintage section, sponsored by Green Machines, bringing together a wide variety of vintage vehicles and machinery from a bygone era, all with their own arena for parades throughout the day.
Sussex Country Fair enjoys strong connections with a wide variety of local societies, associations and organisations, each of who bring their unique displays to Parham Park. From wool spinners to stick makers the diversity is staggering and each year Countryman Fairs aim to expand on this. In line with this aim 2008 will see the introduction of unique food hall, offering demonstrations in the preparation of traditional countryside dishes from start to finish.
The whole family can get involved all around the show with have a go activities for all age groups and features including children’s entertainers and bandstand entertainment alongside outstanding arena displays throughout the day. And, of course, there is ample opportunity for retail therapy, amongst the top quality trade stands, craft fair and antiques exhibition.
Countryman fairs are continually making exciting developments to all our events and with every development our website will be updated. To keep informed of these developments please visit on a regular basis or subscribe to our E-Newsletter.
